Asda, the UK arm of Wal-Mart, has confirmed plans to launch a range of Hershey’s chocolate products in the country.

The move, which was flagged late last year as part of Hershey’s dive to expand internationally, will see Asda carry a line of 12 Hershey’s products. These will include milk and dark Hershey kisses and bars, as well as an exclusive Extra Creamy addition, which has been created especially for the UK market.

Asda said that the decision to roll out the iconic US confectionery brand came in response to consumer demand, with research suggesting that 62% of consumers would like to buy the brand in the UK.
