UK ice-cream maker R&R Ice Cream has appointed its first director of corporate development as the company looks to acquire more businesses in Europe.
R&R, which is looking to buy French ice-cream firm Rolland, has hired Bob Bigley to fill the role.

Bigley’s career includes positions in property and accountancy, including stints at KPMG and Town Centre Securities.
R&R CEO James Lambert said: “Bob has financial and corporate development expertise gained at the highest level and I am delighted he is joining the team. In this new post, he will be working alongside Andy Finneran, our chief finance officer, on R&R’s acquisition programme across mainland Europe.”
