Coldwater Seafood, a UK seafood processor, has started talks with workers over plans to restructure its business.

The company’s owner, Icelandic Group, said discussions had begun with workers at a Coldwater Seafood site in the UK town of Redditch.
“During the consultation period, Coldwater Seafood Ltd. will consider any alternatives to restructuring of the business,” Icelandic Group.
Coldwater Seafood employs around 900 people across three sites, two in Grimsby and one in Redditch.
The news is the latest upheaval at Icelandic Group, which last month sold a shrimp business in Canada.
