Tesco has created a new role that will see clothing executive Jill Easterbrook head both its Ireland unit and One Stop convenience chain in the UK.

Easterbrook, who has been at the helm of Tesco’s clothing business in the UK and Ireland since September, “will bring focus and leadership to these important business units”, the UK’s largest retailer said.

A spokesperson for Tesco added: “She will be bringing together a lot of business units. The role itself is new and she will be looking after a number of teams.”
