Heinz has undertaken a corporate reshuffle in the UK with plans to move its frozen and chilled business into one fully-integrated UK and Ireland business.

The US food giant said the move, which will see brands including Aunt Bessie’s and Weight Watchers join its flagship beans and sauces, would create “positive synergies and growth opportunities”.
Dave Woodward, president of Heinz UK & Ireland, will head the new structure.
However, Woodward said the company would create a stand-alone unit for Heinz’s frozen and chilled desserts.
He said: “This will create an additional focus for investment and growth acceleration in our retailer-brand desserts business and the Ross, American Dream and Devonshire desserts brands.”
