Cereal and snack manufacturer Kellogg today (29 November) announced the appointment of a new MD for its UK and Irish operations.

Jonathan Myers, currently general manager of oral and feminine care for the Chinese operations of Procter & Gamble, will join Kellogg in January as both MD and regional VP for UK and Republic of Ireland.

He replaces Greg Peterson, who left the company in February. Flemming Sundoe, vice president for the Nordic and German Kellogg markets, filled the UK role in the interim.

Stephen Twaddell, president of Kellogg Europe, said: “Jonathan has led and executed trade strategies on a number of market-leading brands such as Pantene, Head & Shoulders and Vidal Sassoon and has significant experience in business development. We look forward to the insights and leadership Jonathan will bring to Kellogg’s.”

As part of his new role, Myers will be a member of Kellogg’s Europe leadership team, which is comprised of the VPs for the other European markets.
