The Council has written to Sainsbury requesting the removal of certain products from its shelves. Govin red wine, for example, is made in the Barkan Industrial Zone on the West Bank, but comes packaged with a label stating “Made in Israel”.
A spokeswoman from the store revealed that Sainsbury’s would be looking into the situation.
