The new microwavable porridge oats are free from added sugar, salt, preservatives, flavourings, colourings or additives and are non-GM. 


The fruit porridge comes in two flavours: Raisin and Apple or Apricot and Sultana. A box containing six sachets of Jordans Real Fruit porridge retails at GBP1.99 (US$3.92).


Promoting the product, the company has highlighted price, convenience and the health benefits associated with consumption of wholegrain oats, which provide slow release energy and can help reduce blood cholesterol.
