Tom MacLennan and Kenny Craig of RSM Tenon have been appointed joint receivers of the independent Scottish bakery firm, which supplies products to UK supermarket chains Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons. The firm has facilities in Kirkcaldy and Dysart.

“Recent attempts by the management to attract fresh investment proved unsuccessful,.” RSM Tendon said. “Severe cash flow problems, the cessation of production and pressure from creditors meant that the only option was to place the business in receivership.”

The receivers are urging any interested parties to get in touch. Kingdom Bakers declined to comment on the reports.
