Lidl UK has confirmed that managing director Frank-Michael Mros has stepped down from his position.
A spokesperson told just-food that a successor will be announced in due course.
Mros was appointed as the head of the discounter’s UK division in late 2009 after he stepped down from his role as managing director of its German division following a spying scandal.
Lidl was accused of keeping detailed notes on the health of its employees in Germany and came barely a year after it was found guilty of hiring private detectives and using hidden cameras to monitor staff.
