UK: Marks & Spencer to create 250 jobs in Northern Ireland
UK high-street retailer is to open ten new foodstores in Northern Ireland over the next three years, creating 250 jobs. Three of the stores are reported by the BBC Online to be earmarked for the Greater Belfast area, while the remainder will be on high streets in larger towns. Each will carry M&S’ Simply Food format, which employs 25 people. The stores in this format offer a wide range of prepared meals and convenience foods, as well as instore bakeries, wine sections and newspapers.
