Ummah Caramel and Ummah Orange bars will be introduces at 26 Morrisons stores this month covering Blackburn, Bolton, Bradford, Bristol, Glasgow, Leicester, London, Preston, Walsall and many other areas.


With over two million Muslims in the UK, and a UK Halal food market valued at GBP2bn (US$3.94bn), it is a key growth sector for UK retailers.
 
Khalid Sharif, MD of Ummah Foods said: “This is one of our largest supermarket distribution deals to date, and we are very excited that we can reach more of our customers with quality Halal products. Consumer demand is allowing multiples to increase the number of stores stocking Ummah Chocolates, and we look forward to supporting Morrisons in their Halal expansion.”
