Retail giant Marks & Spencer has cooled reports it has plans to develop an online food delivery service.
When contacted by just-food today (28 April), the UK retailer said: “There is no prospect in the short term that we will be going online with food.”

M&S is studying weighs to improve its food business after a difficult trading over Christmas. Like-for-like sales dipped 1.5% over the period and the company has since been in talks with suppliers over costs.
M&S is set to announce its full-year results on 20 May.
