Nestlé has launched Toffee Crisp Clusters into the UK market in response to the increasing popularity of “sharing bags”.

With the sharing bag category worth GBP618m (US$902m), Nestlé said its bite-sized chocolate and caramel crispies are being launched in a bid to grow the category further.

Toffee Crisp Clusters sharing bags have an RRP of GBP1.79.

Graham Walker, Nestlé UK trade communications manager, said: “The launch of Toffee Crisp Clusters taps into the growing trend towards confectionery to share and in particular the sharing bag format.

“Sharing bags are an excellent way for retailers to increase sales and profit, particularly as the sector is growing so rapidly.”
