The Savoury Pots, which will be available in six flavours, including Sweetcorn, Carrot & Pea and Fruity Chicken with Wholegrain Rice, join a stable of products comprising baby rice, rusks, cereal bars and biscuits.

“When we made these dishes, our team wanted to create recipes that are healthy and naturally tasty,” the company said in a statement. “The Organix Savoury Pots contain a balance of wholesome nutrients, fibre and essential proteins, and we’re the only baby food company who use wholegrain rice and pasta in our savoury dishes, which means your baby stays satisfied for longer.”

Available this month from Tesco, Morrisons, Waitrose and Boots, the range starts at GBP1.79 (US$3.52).
