Paramount 21 has announced its intention to invest GBP1.2m (US$2.32m) over the next six-months in order to amalgamate the company’s two production facilities into a single new site.
The manufacturer of premium seafood and vegetarian products will double its factory space and increase its number of production lines in order to keep pace with growing sales.
Ali Hannaford, chairman and founder of Paramount, said: “The extra room at the new factory is invaluable. Because of the lack of space in our Brixham factory our expansion plans have needed to be conservative but the purchase of the new site and the investment in plant will enable us to grow our market share at a much faster rate.”
Combining all of the sales, product development and production teams under one roof is also expected to increase efficiency, the company said.
