Local residents have been in a dispute with Tesco for some time over what they claim is excessive noise and road blocking at crucial times of the day, and their cause has been taken up by councillors.


Tesco has now agreed not to deliver products before 8.30am or after 7pm. This should mean buses conveying children to school have a clearer fun, and limit noise in the evenings.


Tesco said the new arrangement would see bread delivered at 8.45am and fresh food at 9am.
