UK baker Perfection Foods has confirmed that it plans to open a new distribution centre to serve its expansion in the BRIC markets.
The company said a 100,000 sq ft site in Leicester was in its plans for 2013 or 2014 and will create 100 jobs.

A spokesperson said Perfection Foods was targeting the BRIC nations. “We need a large enough site to cope with this new international business,” he said.
Last week, the company revealed plans to open a manufacturing site for export markets early next year.
