Princes is continuing its innovation spree with an extension of its ambient canned meat range in the UK.

In a bid to attract a younger audience, the UK food and drink firm is launching Princes Chicken Deli Fillers from July to target the “lucrative lunchtime market” and compete with chilled lines. Princes is said the sector is enjoying both a volume and value increase in sales.

The range comprises four variants: Chicken & Bacon, Coronation Chicken, Sweet Chilli Chicken and Chicken & Sweetcorn.

The launch follows a recent investment by Princes in the ready-meal category with the launch of a range of ambient meals in microwaveable trays.
