UK cereal producer Quaker is expanding its ready-to-eat cereal range, Quaker Oat Crisp, with a chocolate flavour variant.

The product, which contains “chocolate curls”, is being launched in a bid to further strengthen the brand’s offerings and drive greater profit opportunities.
Hayley Stringfellow, Quaker marketing manager, said: “Quaker Original Oat Crisp is performing really well in the UK. Launching Chocolate Oat Crisp will enable Quaker to further build on this success by capitalising on the trend for healthy yet delicious breakfast cereals.”
The ready-to-eat breakfast cereals market is currently worth GBP1.25bn (US$2.5bn) and is seeing an increasing number of consumers buying into the cholesterol-lowering properties of oat-based cereals, the company said.
Quaker Chocolate Oat Crisp is available with an RSP of GBP1.89.
