Rachel’s Organic has appointed Steve Clarke as its new marketing director.
Commenting on his appointment, Clarke said: “I’ve always been a great admirer of the Rachel’s Organic brand and I’m looking forward to bringing my passion and experience to the company. I’ll be ensuring that Rachel’s Organic continues to deliver creative and effective marketing campaigns that will build on the company’s phenomenal growth.”
Clarke joins the company from United Biscuits, where he was marketing controller for McVitie’s, overseeing the company’s GBP160m (US$309.34m) biscuit portfolio.
“Steve has over ten years experience working for a variety of blue chip companies including Gillette, Timex and Yardley – as well as McVitie’s – and he brings with him a vast amount of strategic marketing and brand expertise,” Neil Burchell, Rachel’s Organic MD, said.
“Steve also joins Rachel’s Organic at a time of fantastic value and volume growth for the company, especially within the UK organic yogurts and desserts market which grew 21% last year and was valued at GBP116m,” he added.
