Rectory Foods is expanding its Hot Chicken Company (HCC) products into the UK retail sector with the launch of a range of southern fried chicken products.

The seven-strong range of frozen convenience items includes chicken dippers, chicken breasts, wingos, hot rox and pop rox as well as tikka strips and plain strips.

The products are aimed at multiple retailers and convenience channels and Rectory has already secured listings with Netto, the company said.

“Our new Hot Chicken Company range is a great success in foodservice and we have taken our knowledge, experience, and expertise and translated it into products suited to the retail and convenience markets,” Rectory MD Nick Bowyer said.
