UK grocer Sainsbury’s has revealed that it is revamping its standard private-label range to the ‘By Sainsbury’s’ name.
A spokesperson for the retailer told just-food today (18 April) that the retailer is in the process of relaunching some 7,500 products in its core own-label range.

She said that the process began before Christmas on its frozen range, and it is extending the relaunch across all of its categories.
The spokesperson said the UK’s third-largest retailer plans to have completed the overhaul by “this time next year”.
Sainsbury’s relaunched its premium private label Taste The Difference range in September last year, while Asda also relaunched its main private label range under the Chosen By You brand in the same month.
