The country’s largest grocer has revamped its Healthy Living range, a stable that will contain 200 products, and developed Light Choices, products tailored for dieters.

“We have created two totally new health brands both offering tailored health products to fit specific lifestyles and a holistic, balanced approach to healthier eating,” the retailer said.

The Healthy Living range focuses on healthier ingredients, including omega-3 and fibre. The Light Choices stable encompasses over 250 products, which include less than 3% fat or half the fat of comparable products.

Tesco said it would also bid to help consumers keep track of what they eat every day with an online tool dubbed The Tracker. Consumers can visit www.tesco.com/health to set up their personal profile.
