The jobs are to go at the automated picking operation at Fenny Lock, in Milton Keynes.


Tesco said it regularly reviews its distribution network to drive efficiencies from the operations.


“We no longer plan to operate the automated picking operation in Fenny Lock,” the retail giant said. “Subject to consultation with trade unions, the trunking operation will close by the end of September.”
