Leeds-based private equity firm Key Capital Partners has acquired UK group TSC Foods, a spokesperson for the investment vehicle confirmed today (20 July).

TSC manufactures soups under the Glorious brand, which is endorsed by celebrity chef Marco Pierre White. The group also makes private-label sauces, soups, entrees and dressings. 


The deal is valued at a total of GBP24m (US$39.6m) and is part-financed by equity from KCP, the spokesperson confirmed.


KCP specialises in small- to mid-market buy-outs of between GBP1m and GBP10m in size.
