Unilever has launched a range of salad dressings in the UK under its mustard brand Maille.

The consumer goods giant has developed three lines – balsamic vinegar with orange, red wine vinegar with shallots and olive oil with a touch of black olive.

Brand manager Laura Gordon Hall said: “Maille is a well established and popular brand. The salad dressings sector is worth over GBP35m and is in positive growth year-on-year, so we know that there is consumer demand for such products.”

Unilever has secured listings at Asda, Tesco and Waitrose for the products, which have an RRP of GBP2.79 (US$4.47). Sainsbury’s will stock the dressings from next month.
