United Biscuits has recalled batches of Crawford’s Bourbon Cream biscuits due to the possible presence of small pieces of thin metal wire.
Seven lines of the biscuit brand have been affected. The UK’s Food Standards Agency said the company makes the products for a number UK retailers, which sell the biscuits under retail own-brands.
The FSA said it is working with all of the companies involved to identify other potentially affected products.
