Ratings agency Moody’s has put UK biscuit manufacturer United Biscuits under review following concern over its acquisition of the Jacob’s operation in Britain and Ireland from French food giant Danone.
It has placed the ratings of United Biscuits Finance and its units under review for possible downgrade, reports Business World.
The acquisition, which was announced on Friday, is expected to be funded through bank debt.
