Weight Watchers has launched a Strawberry and Vanilla Sundae in partnership with Icefresh, its iced desserts licensee.
The company said today (4 May) that the sundae is layered with a light, creamy, iced vanilla dessert and tangy strawberry sauce, which are whirled together and topped with white chocolate.
Icefresh chief operating officer Phil Webster said: “Weight Watchers offers its loyal followers something unique with our guilt-free treats. We take traditional dessert products; reduce the fat and calories, but maintain the taste and indulgence so that our customers can enjoy them as part of a healthy, balanced lifestyle.”
The move follows the launch of its Ice Cream Waves earlier this year.
The sundaes are packaged in boxes of two, with each serving containing 4 Weight Watchers Propoints, or 140 calories and 1.7g of saturated fat. They will have an RRP of GBP1.59 (US$2.6).
