Welsh crisp maker Real Crisps has revamped its packaging ahead of a planned expansion across the border into England.

The premium Welsh crisp brand, which is sold in Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury’s in Wales, is already sold in Starbucks nationwide, but aims to be on the shelves of supermarkets in England, reported Marketing.

From next year Real Crisps will be available in at least one major supermarket chain in England and the company also plans to distribute the product to Moto service stations, Compass airport outlets and the Holiday Inn hotel chain.

The company said its share of the UK hand-cooked crisp category is 10-15%.
