Westaways Sausages has teamed up with cider producer Thatchers to launch a new sausage with a “twist” for the UK market.
Devon-based Westaways has produced a pork, apple and cider Sausage using Somerset cider from Thatchers. With apple offering a “natural sweet taste”, the addition of Thatchers cider offers “a Westcountry twist”, the two firms said.

The sausages will go on sale later this month in Tesco stores and independent retailers.
