Gum giant Wrigley has unveiled its latest TV advertising campaign to support its Airwaves brand in the UK.

The new ad campaign is part of a wider multimedia marketing programme to “maintain Airwaves’ product positioning”, Wrigley said.

Wrigley said the brand would also continue to sponsor the Airwaves Ducati British Superbike Team.

Alex MacHutchon, communications manager at Wrigley, said: “The Kick Up A Gear campaign will continue to showcase Airwaves’ unique offering to the consumer, demonstrating the invigorating experience that chewing Airwaves can bring.”

In November last year, the gum giant relaunched the Airwaves brand. The US-based firm revamped the brand’s packaging and reformulated Airwaves to give it a “long-lasting” flavour.
