Gum and confectionery group Wrigley plans to launch its 5 sugar-free stick gum brand into the UK market.

Already on sale in the US, Wrigley said the launch is one of a series planned for the UK this year.


“The product is not going to be available to retailers until later in the year and due to this long lead time we are currently unable to give out any further specific details on flavours, prices or accompanying marketing activity at this early stage,” a spokesperson said today (16 February).


The last launch from Wrigley was the expansion of its Extra confectionery range in December with the addition of Peppermint and Spearmint flavours in a tin packaging format.
