A spokesperson for the company said that the new format, to be launched in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, would feature eight fuel pumps outside and a selection of products for immediate consumption and “take-home” inside.
“This new Lancaster location is a natural extension of our success with offering gas to our customers. Giant successfully operates 63 fuelling stations across the chain,” the spokesperson told just-food.
The company said that the Giant and Go outlet was being run on a trial basis and added that it currently has no plans to open further stores.
“We will evaluate the success of our Lancaster County location and make a determination on our future plans from there,” the spokesperson said.
