The four “all-natural” varieties will be available nationwide this month and will include “specialty cheeses, select premium vegetables and the finest Italian herbs and extra virgin olive oil”, the company said today (9 July).

“Inspired by my European travels, the recipes for the Alexia Tuscan Style Panini are crafted with all-natural ingredients to deliver a gourmet flavour,” said Alex Dzieduszycki, founder of Alexia Foods. “The Tuscan Style Panini provide consumers with a distinct and flavourful meal that is simple to make.”

The Tuscan Style Panini are available in four varieties and the range marks Alexia Foods’ first foray into the frozen sandwich category.

“The sandwich category is ripe for a fresh new entrant that delivers gourmet flavour as well as convenience,” Dzieduszycki added.
