Alkemie Ice Cream has joined forces with Colorado-based Boulder Ice Cream to launch a frozen dairy-free dessert for the US market using organic ingredients.
Alkemie Dairy-Free Ice Cream contains organic raw cashews and coconut and uses raw agave nectar as a natural sweetener.
“We are delighted to be working together with Alkemie to deliver this wonderful new frozen dessert. Boulder’s unique batch-churned process allows us to take Alkemie’s special recipe and deliver it across the US,” said Scott Roy, president of Boulder Ice Cream.
Alkemie Dairy-Free Ice Cream is available in three flavours: Vanilla Bean, Dark Chocolate and Mint Chocolate Chip. The product is available in 26 Whole Food Market stores across northern California.
The company plans to offer its products to 13 more Whole Foods stores in the Rocky Mountain region and continue its expansion throughout the US.
