The pasta contains more than 80% whole grain, and is the first to be awarded the Whole Grain Council’s approval.  It is the first whole-grain pasta to feature three whole grains as primary ingredients, rather than using durum whole wheat flour.

“The USDA’s Dietary Guidelines for Americans, revised in 2005, recommends eating 3 ounces of whole grains per day, and our new Multi-Grain pasta offers consumers 1.7 ounces of whole grains in just one 2 ounce serving, which is more than half of the recommended daily allowance. This enables consumers to easily follow the guidelines and enjoy healthy and economical meals the whole family loves,” said Dan Trott, executive vice president for marketing at AIPC.
