California-based natural foods specialist Attune Foods has launched the Attune Yogurt and Granola Wellness Bar, an all-natural, 180-calorie bar which the company claims includes more than five times the beneficial probiotics found in yogurt.
“Attune Yogurt and Granola bars are a delicious and easy way to get the digestive and immunity benefits of probiotics, those live active cultures commonly associated with yogurt,” said Rob Hurlbut, co-founder and CEO of Attune Foods. “Whether eaten as breakfast to go or as a satisfying snack, Attune bars are a tasty addition to your daily routine.”
The Attune Yogurt and Granola Wellness Bar combines whole grains, nuts and dried fruit with a light yogurt coating. The 40g bars are available in Wild Berry, Strawberry Bliss and Lemon Crème flavours, and each contains 2g of fibre, as well as being a source of protein and calcium.
Meanwhile, the company’s Attune Probiotic Wellness Bars are being promoted as a “new category of daily wellness products packed with powerful probiotics in a portable package”. These come in three 100-calorie chocolate varieties, Chocolate Crisp, Cool Mint Chocolate and Blueberry Vanilla.
Each bar contains more than 10bn probiotics, an amount shown to provide optimal results, Attune claims. Attune says its recipe is formulated to ensure that each bar contains an effective number of probiotics when purchased and Attune probiotics are proven to survive in the digestive tract where they can provide the maximum health benefits. Attune wellness bars also contain the prebiotic inulin, a natural dietary fibre that supports healthy digestive function and works in harmony with probiotics.
