Boulder Canyon, owned by Inventure Foods, said the chips will be available in either five or nine-ounce bags with a standard retail price of $2.49-3.99 per package.

“From Boulder’s perspective, the answer to today’s consumer interest in ‘better for you’ products isn’t to develop a bland, flavourless potato chip, but to create a new twist to an all-time favourite,” said Steve Sklar, senior vice president of marketing for Boulder Canyon.

“We took the same innovative approach to our reduced-sodium products as we do for all of our varieties. The result is a new line of snacks that is delicious and satisfying, but simply better for you than traditional varieties.”
