Fresh Express, a subsidiary of produce giant Chiquita Brands International, has recalled salad products amid its third safety scare in three months.
The company has pulled 2,825 cases of its Veggie Lovers Salad due to a possible health risk from listeria monocytogenes.

The voluntary recall covers products shipped to 13 states, with a code of I208 and a use-by date of 10 August, the US Food and Drug Administration said on Tuesday (10 August).
The FDA said that no illnesses had been reported in association with the recall.
Last month, Fresh Express recalled some of its salads amid an E. coli scare. In May, the company pulled some ready-to-eat salads after the FDA found salmonella in a package.
