US food maker ConAgra Foods has launched a range of Orville Redenbacher’s popcorn that allows consumers to add flavour to the products.

The company yesterday (21 September) introduced Orville Redenbacher’s Flavors, a set of three products that contain a seasoning packet for flavour.

The range comprises of three varities – White Cheddar, Extra Cheese and Sea Salt and Vinegar – and ConAgra said consumers could use the seasoning to control the flavour in their food.

“We’ve found consumers more than ever want to control the flavour of their food. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Orville Redenbacher’s Flavors as the latest creation that lets popcorn lovers customize the flavor of their favorite snack,” Orville Redenbacher’s vice president Jesse Spungin said.

The products retail at US$1.19 to $1.29 for the 3.24oz bags and are available at selected US retail outlets.
