US food maker ConAgra Foods has launched a canned sauce product under its Rotel brand.

Rotel Zesty Tomato & Green Chili sauce is available in two varieties: original and mild.

“The addition of our new Rotel Zesty Tomato & Green Chili Sauce to the Rotel line-up gives home cooks another convenient way to add some flavor and heat to their favorite recipes,” ConAgra vice president and general manager of tomatoes Ryan Clark said yesterday (20 October).

ConAgra said the sauce is filled with flavour so there is no need to add additional spices when cooking.

The Rotel Zesty Tomato & Green Chili Sauce is available in select grocery chains and retailers nationwide, with a suggested retail price of US$0.69.
