ConAgra Foods has announced the launch of 23 “restaurant-quality” meals and desserts in the US from its Bertolli and P.F. Chang’s brands.
The frozen ready meals are designed to take advantage of growing demand in the US for eat-at-home options. The Italian and Chinese meals are “convenient, yet authentic”, ConAgra said.

The company has also taken its Bertolli brand into “sweet treats” with products including tiramisu.
John Plaso, vice president and general manager at ConAgra Foods, said: “These new meals for one, meals for two, and desserts bring more authentic flavours and restaurant-quality choices to the freezer aisle.”
Pressure on ConAgra’s branded sales forced the company to issue a profit warning in September amid “challenges” in its consumer foods business.
