US wholesale retailer Costco saw its earnings grow in the third quarter, boosted by an increase in revenue from higher membership fees.
In the three months ended 12 May, net income reached US$459m. This compared to earnings of $386m last year.
Operating profit was up 15.9% to $722m, while sales climbed 8% to $23.55bn. Comparable sales were up 5%.
