Dean Foods has announced the appointment of Harrald Kroeker as senior vice president and chief operating officer of its dairy group. He will report to Alan Bernon, president of the dairy group.

Kroeker joins Dean Foods from Pepsi Bottling Group where he most recently served as VP and GM of the Great West Business Unit. Prior to this assignment, Harrald held leadership roles at Polaroid and Proctor & Gamble.
“Harrald has a well-established track record in leading organisations by focusing on customer service and operational excellence,” said Bernon. “He is a proven executive with the skills and experience base that will help accelerate our long term strategy of growing market share and driving efficiencies throughout our business.”
Kroeker has overseen the integration of acquired businesses, restructured organisations and launched start-up businesses in a variety of markets including Hungary, Russia and Mexico, Dean Foods said.
