Dean Foods has appointed Barbara Carlini as chief strategy and transformation officer, responsible for overseeing the US dairy group’s information technology network.

Carlini has a “proven track record” in IT and will be the “driving force” behind the group’s IT transformation efforts, the company said.
Most recently, Carlini served as corporate vice president of the mobile division of Motorola. Prior to this, she was chief information officer of Diageo Americas.
“Barbara brings to Dean Foods a wide range of IT experiences that are critical for us in addressing how we most effectively leverage technology for improved transparency, enhanced productivity and end-to-end solutions,” said Greg McKelvey SVP, Dean Foods strategy and marketing services.
