Van Tassel joined the company as part of Ralcorp’s acquisition of cereal maker Post from Kraft Foods.


Previously, Van Tassel served as vice president of marketing for the Post business at Kraft.


He will report to David Skarie, co-chief executive officer and president of Ralcorp, the private-label food group said.
