US pie maker Tootie Pie Co. has appointed former Mars and PepsiCo executive Randy Graybill as director of business development.

Tootie said today (2 July) that Graybill would help develop its branded products at home and abroad.
President and CEO Don Merrill added: “Randy brings a wealth of food industry know-how and experience to the Tootie Pie Company. He will be active in both sales and operations and we expect he will be a key contributor as we take Tootie Pie to the next level.”
Meanwhile, Kirk Jones is to be promoted to the roles of controller and chief accountant.
In the year to 31 March, Tootie saw its annual sales climb by almost 18% to US$1.7m, although selling and marketing costs deepened its losses to US$687,815.
