The US unit of Tesco opened stores in Tampe, Chandler and Mesa, bringing its total number of US outlets to 82.


Speaking at the Tampe opening, Fresh & Easy CEO Tim Mason said: “We have been remarkably well-received here in Arizona and now have 24 stores in the area. Our high-quality foods and great prices have been a hit and we look forward to bringing Fresh & Easy to more neighborhoods throughout the Valley.”


A spokesperson for the company told just-food that Fresh & Easy remains focused on further expansion in its three core geographies where the majority of stores are located – southern California, Las Vegas and Phoenix.
